White Sauce

  1. Prep spices
  2. Heat butter in sauce pan over low heat until melted
  3. Add flour to butter and whisk to combine
  4. (optional) Spices can be added here for added flavor
  5. Stir until mixture is mildly brown. I don\u2019 usually time myself, but probably sometime within 3-8 minutes should be good?
  6. Maintaining at a low heat, add milk and mix (don't be afraid to be forceful)
  7. When your sauce is just slightly more liquid-y than you want, remove it from heat
